SMARS® is a performance management application suite that is dedicated to the task of performance management and operational support, also known as network assurance or service assurance. This is a complete end-to-end solution; it gathers, decodes, transforms, presents, reports and analyses data from any file type, from any equipment, from any vendor, of any encoding or format, from release 2 data streams will also be supported. This product was designed for use by network operators and equipment vendors to measure the performance and the operational characteristics of their equipment and services.

SMARS® provides a windows desktop based entry point to performance management, which scales up to an enterprise server based performance management solution. Due to the ease of use and very little system administration there is a low cost of ownership.
