We use Data Mining to identify the relationships between failures, their indicators and root causes. The indicators become metrics or counters that are then observed from within the analytics modules, recording ‘profiles’ of all known service interruptions on a service by service basis. These records form a knowledge base that profiles all know service interruptions. These records will aide in the early identification of service interruptions by Operations and Support staff.
